Recall data API & licensing

Daily Food Recalls publishes a normalized, de-duplicated JSON feed combining FDA and USDA food recalls. The full feed is free for light use at /api/recalls.json. For commercial use, higher volume, webhooks, or historical data, see licensing below.

Schema

Each record includes: id, product, brand, company, category, class, agency, hazard, hazardType, allergens[], reason, whatToDo, affectedStates[], retailers[], lotCodes[], upc, recallInitiated, reportDate, status, recallType, distribution, quantity, officialUrl.

Licensing

Free tier for non-commercial and low-volume use. Commercial plans (grocery, insurance, foodservice, app developers) include webhooks, SLA, and full history. Contact hello@dailyfoodrecalls.com.
